Ford Transit Courier

Renowned for their strong, dependable large vans; Ford Transit has tried to replicate their high standards in a smaller vehicle. With a lot to live up to; the Brochure is the smallest van in the Transit range. Adding another shape continues to demonstrate the versatility of the Ford Transit

If you spend most of your time behind the wheel driving through cities then the Ford Transit Courier could be the van for you. While still serving a purpose as a van, you will find that driving through the cities in this compact and agile van is as easy as driving a car.

Even with it providing a smooth drive, there is still enough room for you to carry a decent size load. All this while also finding it easier to squeeze into tight car parking spaces. The load capacity is 2.3m3 with a payload of up to 660kg so it can fit more than you’d expect.

You can increase the load length of your Courier Trend by including a folding mesh bulkhead. However, this comes with a fold-up passenger seat which is a lot less comfortable than a fixed seat would be. But, if you need that extra bit of room, it is worth the compromise.

Maybe the Transit Courier is too small for you. In this case, there are other small vans to choose from with more space.

The Ford Transit Courier is available with the standard Base model or you can upgrade it to Trend or the more stylish Sport specification.

The Trend specification comes with:

  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Electrically-operated, heated mirrors
  • Body colour mirrors
  • Automatic headlights
  • Bluetooth
  • Ford SYNC 3
  • Lockable glovebox

Van Finance

Best Ways Of  Van Finance
At Swiss we have literally most funders on the market and will introduce you to the best value. Our aim is to help you grow your fleet
and become your natural choice to replace vehicles.
– Van Hire purchase – VAT down and VAT deferred . HP is a great way to actually buy a van. If your VAT registered claim the whole VAT amount back within three months.
– Van Leasing
Small deposits from one payment in advance to 50% of the van price. Its 100% tax deductible so great fir new start companies that have start up costs. Is the favourite way for many manufacturers so often attracts the greatest discounts. Its more flexible than contract hire.
– Lease Purchase
Not all manufactures support this method so often pre registered vans are the way to go. This is because you take ownerships automatically and they worry it will affect residual values. Ask us first as often you cant get a private plate on this method. Its very much like HP but more suited to VAT registered companies as they can claim the VAT back of course. If you are flat rate VAT this is the one for you.
– Van Contract Hire
Great for larger fleets that want to control costs but its seldom sold to smaller users as its quite restrictive. Many ask for it because  they have asked for it in the past. Some mistakenly think there is no credit check check but there is.
