There eco-friendly BlueEfficiency engines aren’t offered with the Sprinter but it still offers a decent fuel economy of up to 41.5mpg. You can get 2.1 turbodiesel engine with different power outputs while there is the option to choose the 3 litre V6 engine. Most come with manual transmission but there are 7-speed and 9-speed automatic options, too.

Types of Sprinter

The Sprinter boasts a range of options to ensure it can fulfil the needs of a range of different businesses. You get the standard choice of panel or crew van while the you can get dropsides and tippers with a chassis cab conversion.

Panel van

With a possible maximum payload of just over 3 tonnes and a load capacity of 17m3, the Sprinters real bread and butter is load shifting. Depending on whether you want space or strength, there are four body lengths (three with FWD) to choose from, while there is also a high-roof option.

Crew van

Should you need to transport your work colleagues from place to place, you can carry up to 6 passengers with the crew van. It is still flexible with carrying cargo as you can remove the rear bench for the occasions you need to carry the maximum possible loads.

Special purpose

For business who require a van for a specific business purpose, the Sprinter chassis cab allows for conversions. This means you can have a Sprinter in dropside, tipper or luton van form.
