FORD TRANSIT CONNECT ENHANCES APPEAL FOR FLEET OPERATORS WITH BEST-IN-CLASS FUEL EFFICIENCY AND 1.0-TONNE PAYLOAD

The latest updates in the Ford Transit Connect involve a new fuel efficiency system with a 1.5-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engine. They also introduced a 1 tonne payload for better capacity as the gross vehicle mass is increased to 2.5 tonnes. The vehicle offers lesser amounts of CO2, which is sustainable and better for the environment, and at the same time, reduces fuel costs, which can be enhanced by using low rolling resistance tyres. 

They are also releasing a new limited edition Ford Transit Connect, with new and improved interior and a fashionable exterior. The new changes have increased demands for the Ford Transit Connect in Europe. Furthermore, the increased efficiency and less fuel cost provide a more eco-friendly approach.

Fuel efficiency and payload

The Ford Transit Connect’s new approach to energy efficiency and reduced fuel cost minimises the carbon footprint. The Transit connects also has increased its payload as it is now 1 tonne, which is 79 kilograms more than the previous version. The customers also have an option to choose from various ranges of power strains including 110 PS or 120 PS 1.5 litre diesel engine. The EcoBlue diesel engines have 8 speed automatic transmissions and six speed manual transmissions. The engine is also able to use HVO fuel while the performance will remain unaffected. The best-selling model of the Ford Transit Connect is the L1 trend which has a fuel efficiency of 68.8 mpg.

Limited edition

The new Ford Transit Connect is now available in a stunning exterior and improved exterior. The new design has sparkle silver alloy wheels of 16 inches. The door handles, side mouldings and wing mirrors are now available in body colour. The new update also offers driver seat heating systems for comfort, rain sensors for wet wipers and auto lighting.
